Introduction

Each quarter, Te Waihanga publishes the Pipeline Snapshot - a high-level summary illustrating the current state of New Zealand's National Infrastructure Pipeline

The Snapshot is read by government agencies and infrastructure providers, to the construction sector, contractors, workforce planners, researchers, and the public. Through the Snapshot we aim to keep you informed of areas including:

  • the view of work underway and forward investment intentions
  • how advanced initiative planning and funding commitments are
  • the value of initiatives moving through procurement and into construction
  • the distribution of current and planned activity across our sectors
  • indicators of market capacity and the infrastructure workforce that is needed.

We want to ensure the Snapshot continues to deliver value. This five-minute survey focuses on Snapshot content, structure, and presentation. Feedback will be used to inform improvements to the Snapshot series.

Responses will be unattributed; we will not identify individual respondents or their organisations in any outputs from this survey. We may follow up directly with participants to clarify a response or seek further context.

The Commission may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support our work, in line with the Government Chief Digital Officer’s Responsible AI Guidance for the Public Service: GenAI.

AI may be used to support the Commission’s work by assisting with tasks such as summarising information, drafting content, or improving efficiency, with human oversight and accountability retained at all times. Any content developed using AI tools will be reviewed by Commission staff to ensure it is accurate.
